PAY - £28-£32ltd per hour d.o.e.

WHAT YOU NEED
, Satisfactory Enhanced DBS
, Active SW England Registration
, Recognised Social Work qualification
, Post qualifying experience in a similar field
, To build effective relationships with the child, young person, family or carers to decide the best way to keep them safe and improve outcomes to ensure child protection is always prioritised
, Provide support using best evidence direct work, support identified needs, and support children and young people in placements, those being adopted and moving to independence
, Work with a wide range of professionals, helping them to understand the child and young persons needs and ensuring that these are met in different contexts
, To provide supervision to carers, individually, in families, facilitating groups and training within the fostering and permanence roles
, Communicate clearly and sensitively with children and families/carers
, Produce written case notes and reports which are well argued, focused and jargon-free with sound analysis and rationale for actions
, Be able to develop a holistic view of family circumstances
, To have awareness of what abuse indicators are and use this to collate multi-agency information and where necessary confidently lead investigations to protect children
