Occupational Therapist

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Occupational Therapist to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Cheadle, Stoke-on-Trent area.

As the Occupational Therapist you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

 

This hospital provides person centred and care planned outcome focused interventions to support recovery to better health and greater independence.

They facilitate engagement in the community and the opportunity to develop new lifestyle choices to improve self-esteem and confidence

 

As the Occupational Therapist your key responsibilities include:

·         Facilitate a flexible programme of OT groups and individual interventions as part of our tiered integrated therapeutic group programme

·         Completing assessments

·         Planning sessions

·         Implementing intervention

·         Evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans

·         Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants

·         Implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities to aid mental health recovery

 

An ideal Occupational Therapist must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Knowledge and use of a range of OT assessments and outcome measures

·         Experience of working within a similar setting

·         Experience in managing a designated caseload using theoretical

·         Practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans

 

The successful Occupational Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £27,322 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
