Senior Occupational Therapist

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Occupational Therapist to work in an exceptional rehabilitation unit based in the Walton on the Hill, Surrey area.

As Senior Occupational Therapist you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This service is a recovery focused, rehabilitation unit providing specialist mental health treatment for males aged 18 and over

As the Senior Occupational Therapist your key responsibilities include:

·         You will lead, support and supervise the occupational health team and will be responsible for monitoring budgets and resource purchase

·         Manages and coordinates the implementation of individual treatment plans 

·         Receives and responds promptly to referrals

·         Maintains and develops close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues

An ideal Senior Occupational Therapist must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         At least 2 years of clinical experience including some experience of working within a secure setting

·         Contributes towards service evaluation and development

·         Able to show a can-do attitdue always

The successful Senior Occupational therapist will recevie an excellent salary from £35,000 to £38,000 per annum, This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.

To be considered for this position you must hold a BSc Hons in Occupational Therapy together with full BAOT membership and HCPC registration
