Theatre Nurse/ODP

Location: Hove

Salary: £28,000-£35,000 (dependent on experience)

Exciting opportunities are available for Theatre Nurse / Theatre Practitioner (RN Adult/ODP) to join their friendly operating theatre teams.  

Posts are available within Scrub/Recovery/Anaesthetics and Endoscopy 

Their Theatre Nurses / ODPs are experienced in a variety of surgical procedures, or are willing to learn new procedures and techniques under expert supervision.

Consultants come to work with them from all across the UK and you will work closely with them and be exposed to the latest innovative, evidence-based clinical techniques. 

The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures, you will support in assessing patient’s health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient’s needs.

You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.

Positions are full time (37.5 hours per week) with variable shift patterns.

Although Part Time hours can be considered.

Person Specification:

Ideally you will be a Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner and be used to working in teams and with minimum supervision.

Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration/practitioner qualification and additional training is also desirable.
