We are currently recruiting for Community Support Workers to work for a private client in Chorley
Full Time
Shift times are 7am - 2pm and 4pm-10pm, to include alternate weekend work.
£8.75PH +25p per visit

Job Description
, To help the client to maintain their independence and to maintain their dignity, physical health, psychological well-being and to continue to be a valid member of society.
, To play a role in work place communications.
, To provide information and support to people in the community.

Key Tasks
, Assisting an individual to maintain their personal hygiene, freshness and appearance by providing assistance with washing, bathing and getting dressed.

You must always ensure that dignity is preserved throughout these procedures.
, Clean and tidy the kitchen, dining rooms, tables and trolleys.

Clean and tidy all used utensils to the appropriate places and dispose of waste properly.
, Prepare and serve meals as required in the Clients' care plan, ensuring adequate fluids are taken and assisting in feeding unwell Clients, recording what they have eaten and drunk in their file.
, Provide escort duties to hospital appointments etc, getting the shopping, collecting pensions and paying bills etc, in accordance with the care plans.
, Participate in social outlets and provide them if required.
, Remind Clients to take their medication if indicated in their care plan.
, Attend to all other tasks indicated in the Clients individual care plan.

If you are asked to do anything not stated in the care plan you must ring the office for advice.
, You must also be prepared to attend both in-house and external training as may be necessary or required.
