Occupational Therapist

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Occupational Therapist to work in an exceptional hospital service based in the High Wycombe, London area.

As an Occupational Therapist you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers


This service is a purpose built neurological centre for men and women over the age of 18 years, who have an acquired brain injury.

The centre has been designed specifically to support people who, because of their injury, have challenging and complex needs and require a neurobehavioral rehabilitation programme


As an Occupational Therapist your key duties include:

·         Carry out OT assessments to identify patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate interventions on either an individual or group basis

·         Manage and co-ordinate individual OT treatment plans, facilitate groups and oversee the unit programmes

·         Write up regular OT reports and to attend multi-disciplinary meetings

·         Ensure effective and efficient management of occupational therapy assistants

·         Provide clinical supervision to member of the occupational therapy team

·         Develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues ensuring clinical practice is in line with company policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards

·         Maintain effective communication links with patients, relatives and carers

The successful Occupational Therapist will receive an excellent annual salary of £36,700 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
