Ward Manager

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Ward Manager to work in an exceptional service based in the Dorking, Surrey area.

As a Ward Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

This is an inpatient rehabilitation and recovery service for females with mental health needs, personality disorders or mild learning disabilities and who may have a history of challenging behaviours, self-harm, substance misuse problems or trauma


As a Ward Manager your key duties include:

·         You will lead the team of nurses and healthcare workers in the implementation of recovery focussed care for the women in the service

·         You will have accountability for ensuring the safe staffing within the hospital and provide clear and supportive leadership ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained within your department

·         You will also be Included in Staffing numbers 0.4 FTE


An ideal Ward Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Experience supervising nursing staff

·         Training and current mentor

·         Experience or working in an Environment that requires ability to manage multiple priorities

·         Computer literate

·         Evidence or continued professional development.


·         Additional expertise such as DBT and CBT for Psychosis would be advantageous


The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of £40,500 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role, working 37.5 hours a week.

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN with a current active NMC Pin or hold an Allied Health Professional qualification
