Registered Manager

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Manager to work in a community-based residential care settings.

As a Registered Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

This special care home consists in supporting individuals with complex needs, challenging behaviours and transforming care agenda. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a team and service that will provide outstanding care for complex individuals.

As a Registered Manager your day to day duties include:

·         Ensure that staff are providing excellent standards of support to the people that use our

service, in line with regulatory and internal quality standards.

·         Ensure that all person centred care plans are reviewed, evaluated and updated regularly.

·         Ensure that all staff have completed all mandatory training and any training specific to the service.

·         Ensure the service meets all legal and statutory requirements including, but not limited to, those related to fire regulations, health and safety at work, licensing, weights and measures, trading standards, employment, current legislation and that all appropriate statutory notices are displayed.

Maintain an excellent standard of safeguarding practice and awareness throughout the service and staff team.

·         Ensure the service has a positive reputation and good relationships with all stakeholders,

including people in the local community, families and friends of the people who use our

service and potential purchasers.

·         Ensure excellent knowledge of current policies, procedures and governance affecting the

service and the company

 

An ideal Registered Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Commitment to delivering high quality care

·         Previous managerial experience in a similar environment

·         Strong working knowledge of  regulatory standards

·         Fine tuned decision making skills

·         Excellent organisational and communication skills

·         Flexibility and strong “can do” attitude

 

The successful Registered Manager will receive an excellent annual salary from £32,000 - £35,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 40 hours a week.
