Residential Deputy Manager

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Residential Deputy Manager to work in an exceptional care home service based in the Poole, Dorset area.

As the Residential Deputy Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

 

The new service which provides a mixture of nursing, residential and dementia beds, with an additional 20 transitional beds

 

As the Residential Deputy Manager your key duties include:

·         You will report into the Registered Manager, playing an important part of the onsite management team

·         You will support the manager in leading and supervising a large staff team to deliver the highest standards of care

·         You will work with the local community, GP's and professionals to deliver care that truly enables residents to continue to lead as full a life as possible

·         You will also take a significant role in the management of the staff team

·         You will be dealing daily with issues concerning sickness management, staff training and development, and coaching and mentoring

·         You will have an effective way of communicating with your team, and above all, act as a champion for everything that you do

 

An ideal Residential Deputy Manager must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Have demonstrable experience supporting elderly service users, preferably those with dementia

·         Able to show a can-do attitude always

·         Experience in managing staff and ensuring the service runs smoothly

·         Show leadership qualities and lead by example

·         Be hard working and willing to go the extra mile for patients

 

The successful Residential Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £45,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role for 37.5 hours a week, working Day Shifts.

This is a 100% supernumerary role, however you will be expected to help on the floor when needed.
