Registered Home Manager

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Clacton-on-Sea, Essex area.

As the Registered Home Manager you will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers.

This special care home is for male and females who have enduring mental health problems.

the home provides  low secure, locked and open, recovery-focused rehabilitation and community housing, and bespoke approach looks at what can be achieved for each person, their abilities, interests and needs

As the Registered Home Manager your key duties include:

·         Ensure that the regulatory bodies’ standards are achieved and that all staff are trained to this level

·         Ensure that all documentation and care records are maintained and that a programme of meaningful activities is available to service users.

Implement appropriate systems to ensure compliance with requirements

·         To develop and maintain the necessary working relationships with management and functional colleagues throughout the company

·         Ensure the Home meets all legal and statutory requirements including those related to fire regulations, health and safety at work, licensing, weights and measures, trading standards, employment, Care Act and that all appropriate statutory notices are displayed

·         Ensure that all staff working in the Home have adequate references, appropriate Disclosure checks are received for all staff so that the service users are protected

·         Develop strong working relationships with HR and other support functions to ensure the home management and staff are inducted, trained, motivated and supported to achieve company standards and the highest levels of care and customer service


An ideal Registered Home Manager must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         A detailed knowledge of the statutory requirements associated with care for the Mental Health is essential

·         You should also be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the key business activities associated with a care home


The successful Registered Home Manager will receive an excellent Competitive Salary.

This exciting position is a Full Time role, working 37.5 hours a week.
