Clinical Lead

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Lead to work in an amazing nursing home based in the Cheltenham, Gloucestershire area.

As a Clinical Lead you will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

 

This special nursing home is a purpose-built home and provides residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 70 people

 

As a Clinical Lead your key responsibilities include:

·         Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – risks are proactively managed and issues identified, investigated and resolved

·         Oversee all aspects of medicine management – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered to our clients

·         Promote high standards of nursing care for you and your team, actively seeking ways to improve levels of service

·         Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – risks are proactively managed and issues identified, investigated and resolved

·         Take an active role in the development of yourself and others – ensure that the team's skill and knowledge levels are able to meet the changing needs of the business

 

An ideal Clinical Lead must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         You will have Senior Nurse/Clinical Lead experience

·         You will be passionate about caring for the elderly, and always strive to provide great quality care, making every day better than the last; promoting our core values: maintaining independence and dignity to our service users

·         You’ll be up to date with current evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC Standards and Regulations and will work using your initiative making effective decisions to improve care quality

·         You will be a team player, demonstrating outstanding communication skills and will be able to demonstrate effective teamwork as part of a multi-disciplined team

 

The successful Clinical Lead will receive an excellent salary of £18.50 per hour and the annual salary for this position is £38,480 per annum.

We currently have vacancies for both Days and Night Shifts.

It is a split clinical and supernumerary will be alternate weekends and on call cover.

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse, either RGN, RMN or RNLD with a current active NMC pin
