Occupational Therapist

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to work across three services in the Chelmsford area.

As an Occupational Therapist you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

Work as a key member of the multidisciplinary team to provide Occupational Therapy assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children and to support them, their families and carers in self-management and care.

As an Occupational Therapist your key responsibilities include:

·         To manage and prioritise own caseload and workload independently

·         Contribute to departmental development and key performance targets

·         Plan and implement training programmes to others

 

An ideal Occupational Therapist must have these skills and experience as they are beneficial for this position:

·         Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

·         Experience of using a range of assessments and treatment methods

·         Experience of participation in education of students

·         Good general knowledge of normal child development

·         Knowledge, experience of Children’s Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions related to working with children and an understanding of the theoretical framework underpinning these

 

The successful Occupational Therapist will receive an excellent Band 6 Salary.
