ICT Oracle Applications Lead (Police)
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an Oracle Applications Lead to work on a 2 year fixed term contract in Leek Wootton, Warwickshire.
The main purpose of the role is to stabilise and rationalise legacy Oracle applications and assist in migrating those required to Microsoft/Windows-based solutions.
-To establish a road map for the long-term treatment of all legacy Oracle applications, including recommended priorities.
-To ensure that the input of staff and officers using the applications and services (as gathered by business partners) are factored into proposed treatments.
-To collaborate with suppliers/partners to design and deliver solutions that fit with our technology stack, represent value for money, and have sustainable longevity.
-To provide leadership regarding any interfaces between well-used Oracle applications and other solutions used within the force.
-Bachelor's degree in an ICT subject or equivalent work experience.
-Professional qualifications in Oracle application development/support.
-Experience analysing the solutions landscape and proposing treatments.
-Experience managing outages to important ICT systems.
-Experience ensuring required interfaces between systems are efficient and supportable.
