Job Title: Rent Transaction Officer
Work and Interview Location: Wembley, HA9
Salary: £29,431
Contract Type: 12 Months FTC
Weekly Hours: 37 Hours per week
Start Date: ASAP


Key responsibilities

, Provide comprehensive rent transactions processing service, in line with policy and procedures.


, Ensure timely allocation of receipts and rents refunds and to communicate with housing income teams regarding missing receipts and any other rent queries.


, Accountable for suspense accounts data accuracy and clearance; management of Housing Benefit schedules onto Northgate in a timely fashion; ensuring all sales completions funds are promptly allocated to the rent and service charge accounts.


Essential

, AAT qualified or equivalent with a minimum of two years working knowledge of legislative background and best practice in relation to rent accounting, balance sheet reconciliations and double entry
, Progressing towards the recognised accounting qualification, part-qualified or equivalent; with a minimum of two years working knowledge of legislative background and best practice in relation to rent accounting
, Experience of working in a high volume intensive environment
, Range of experience in the use of financial accounting and other systems.


, Range of experience in the use of housing systems (Northgate)
