B2B Sales Executive/Event Sales Executive

 

Hertford, Hertfordshire

Our progressive and successful client is looking for an Events Sales Executive for one of their progressive and well-known Events.

You will be managing selling supplier places ensuring that the events they are assigned to are successful and reach or exceed sales revenue.

You will also be working collaboratively with the Delegate Sales Executives to ensure all confirmed delegates are of the highest calibre.

This role is ideal for someone who has the minimum of 6 months experience in Events Sales or comes from a B2B Sales environment and would like to get into the Events Industry.

You will possess a natural flair to build strong relationships and be a natural communicator.

The main duties:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Contact potential suppliers from the CRM system
  • Sell the Event via telephone or Face to Face meeting
  • Hit and exceed all targets
  • To identify and source new business opportunities
  • Cross sell on all events and summits in the business, ensuring Client has product knowledge of the brand
  • Attend industry related events and exhibitions
  • Ensure all data is up to date on the CRM System
  • Keep up to date with products and competitors
  • Manage event admin
  • Act in a professional manner at all times and deliver a good quality event to your suppliers and delegates
  • Manage rebooks for other events

The successful person will be / have:


  • A minimum of 6 months in B2B Sales or in event/exhibition sales
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Strong at identifying new business opportunities
  • Experience of using LinkedIn is desirable but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of how to use Microsoft Suites( Office, email, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong at building relationships, good at cold calling and opening doors
  • Self-motivated and tenacious
  • Passionate and highly motivated, lots of drive
  • Confident & High standard of professionalism at all times
