Senior Events Sales Executive/ Event Sales Manager

Our progressive and successful client is looking for a strong Senior Events Sales Executive/ Event Sales Manager for one of their progressive and well-known Events.

You will be managing 2 events per year ensuring that these are successful and exceed sales revenue and delegate targets .

This will be by getting suppliers and delegates to the events so strong communication and relationship building skills are essential for this role.

You will be managing and motivating Delegate Sales Executives that are assigned to the events to ensure everything runs smoothly and to plan.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person , someone who has been in Media, Events or Advertising and wants to join a progressive , well established company with lots of future growth and career potential.

The main duties:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and increase event data via CRM
  • Hit and exceed all targets
  • To identify and source new business opportunities
  • Meet and exceed set KPI’s across call rates, new prospects and targets
  • Set and achieve weekly goals and targets set as part of a team
  • Cold calling to maintain a consistent pipeline of prospects
  • Follow up incoming lead generation prospects from marketing and data team
  • Account manage existing clients and cross sell into other events where relevant
  • Host face to face meetings with new and existing business
  • Upsell sponsorship opportunities and bespoke solutions for clients
  • To attend industry relevant events to promote and represent your brands

  • Proven track record in event/exhibition sales
  • Ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • Strong at identifying new business opportunities
  • Excellent at setting weekly goals and targets
  • Strong at building relationships, good at cold calling and opening doors
  • Strong Leadership skills , leading from the front
  • Self-motivated and tenacious
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Passionate and highly motivated, lots of drive
  • Confident and strong attention to detail
  • High standard of professionalism at all times
