Live in Carer

At Retain we are currently looking for a live in carer, the person for the role would be able to work on a 2 week on and 2 week off rolling rota.

This role is to assist with the daily living of a gentleman with clinical needs, knowledge of peg feeding & catheter care would be an advantage(full training provided), this gentleman is non verbal and has an acquired brain injury.

You would be assisting to support the gentleman in the community, with another member of staff, to appointments and with activities.

Being a part of our team will include:

You will be working as an integral part of our team, you will be supporting a gentleman within his own home and ensuring he is able to enjoy a good quality of life whilst supporting good health and wellbeing.

We will provide full training, followed by shadow shifts arranged with an experienced carer, who will help you adjust to your new role, and we have ongoing telephone support available for when you are out caring for our service users.

The quality of this service can only be delivered by people like you who want to make a difference to the individuals we support in the community.

We will continue to develop your skills through training and development to meet the needs of the client.
