Deputy Manager

Our client is  an award winning, top 15 UK Care Home provider, is recruiting for a Deputy Manager to work at Residential Home.

This is a  28 bedded Residential home in Carlisle, which provides Convalescence, Residential Dementia & Palliative Care.

The successful candidate will be offered an excellent salary plus other benefits. 

As the Deputy Manager you will play a key role in the effective management and administration of the home under the supervision of the Home Manager and assist in providing a caring environment that meets the needs of the service users.

To work as part of a team and be a proactive team member.

You will oversee the running of the home in the Home Manager’s absence and you will be a motivating leader.

The ideal candidate will have:

·         Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent

·         A proven record in care of the elderly and a desire to provide excellence of care through skilled team management, the ability to relate to older people and care for them in a sensitive manner.

·         A commitment to provide high quality care standards for older people and to promote equal opportunities and non-discriminatory practice.

·         Ability to form positive relationships with colleagues and build supportive teams.
