NHS Information Analyst

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Information team within an NHS service situated in London.

The Information Team are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and competent individual to join their innovative, award winning team as an Information Analyst, supporting the Corporate Information Team.

The Information Team have developed a reputation for putting Information in the hands of those who need it.

The successful candidate will be able to identify gaps in information provision and develop and embed solutions to enable evidence based decision making.
The post holder will be joining us at an exciting but challenging time as the Trust faces multiple complex challenges meaning the role of data has never been so prominent.
The post-holder will support clinical service delivery, performance management and planning throughout the hospital and will maintain and develop the provision of performance information on the Trust's information systems
Main duties and responsibilities

, To support the maintenance, development and promotion of the performance management & internal information systems.

This will include ensuring the technical infrastructure is robust enough to deliver required outputs, training users and promoting the use and value of the system to all Trust staff.
, To assist in implementing the Trust's performance indicator development plan in support of the corporate strategy and business planning framework.

To support the performance information provision for exception review process
, To assist in the development of new analytical reports, performance indicators and the resolution of data quality/interpretation issues which will drive improvement in performance within clinical divisions and corporate departments.

, To support the Performance team in the production of performance information for performance reports.
, To work closely with the Information Services Management team to ensure information to support the Trust is of good quality, available in a timely manner and is reported consistently.
, To promote and support the Data quality agenda, providing reports, guidance and suggestions as appropriate

Data Quality

, To support implementation the Trust Data Quality plan working with relevant departments and Clinical Units to raise awareness of issues and steps required to resolve.
, To support the Trust in the management of the quality of data prospectively rather than retrospectively and provide appropriate reports to support this.
, To highlight issues with data quality completeness and/or integrity that may have implications for either current or future local or national demands.
