ASB Officer Vacancies - East London & Essex
I am currently recruiting for a variety of ASB roles across East London and Essex.

Both roles are for local authorities and will be based in Hackney or Grays.

The Roles
The focus of these roles is to carry an ASB caseload within your patch, as well as:
- To manage a caseload of ASB and Hate Crime cases, to ensure you provide a high profile, proactive & reactive ASB service, as part of a wider Housing Enforcement Team.
- To utilise a comprehensive range of prevention, intervention and enforcement (P.I.E) tactics, whilst carrying out enforcement duties within the framework of current and future relevant legislation.
- To carry out visits, investigations and other duties as appropriate to ensure the gathering and collation of evidence in order to take the most appropriate action to meet the council's statutory duties.

This could include civil or criminal actions.
- Work closely with Troubled Families to refer families for support and ensure ongoing agreed protocols for successfully working and delivering interventions around each family.
- To support and assist witnesses and victims, as a core part of case management, as appropriate.
- To refer into and support the Housing Domestic Abuse Service, as a core part of care management, as appropriate.

The Candidates
To be successful within an ASB role, you will require previous ASB experience and be able to deal with difficult and confrontational clients.

You will require an up to date DBS and a driving license with access to your own vehicle for work.

The Contract
Both contracts are 2 - 3 month contracts and could be extended - the roles are full time working 37 hours per week.
