Clerk of Works

Our client, a local authority in the South Wales area has an exciting new opportunity for a Building Clerk of Works to join their team.

This is a full time, temporary ongoing position and the successful candidate must have a HNC in a Construction discipline or an equivalent level of qualification.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of relevant risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work and health and safety issues.

Having knowledge and experience of planned maintenance and project procurement is also essential.



Other duties include undertaking pre and post surveys and contract duties, reporting any defects to the housing stock, undertaking site inspections and liaising with various other entities including contractors and consultants.
