Problem & Change Analyst

My client, a local authority in Hampshire, is looking for a Change and Problem Analyst to work on an initial 3 month contract basis.

This role is INSIDE IR35.



The current Problem & Change Manager is looking for someone to come on-board to assist with duties, so ideally we are looking for someone with excellent admin and data analysis skills who is looking to move into a more challenging role - any service desk experience would be an advantage.

Main Responsibilities

, Support the day to day running of the Change Management and Problem Management process.


, Review and validate Change records to ensure that they are correctly categorised, approved, and that they contain a sufficient level of information on the risk and impact to the business.


, Assist with identifying, classifying and prioritizing Problem records, analysing trends, resolving root causes and implementing solutions.


, Monitoring the progress of change and problem records.


, Support teams within the IT Department in their management of Problem and Change management.


, Assist with Change and Problem board meetings.


, Maintaining up to date records/documentation on problem resolution and communication with relevant parties.




Essential Qualifications
, 5 GCSEs (grade A-C) or equivalent including Maths and English.



Desirable Qualifications
, 2 good A levels (grade A-C) or equivalent.



Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience
, ITIL Foundation.
