Salary: £34 LTD+ per hour DOE

A placement for a Commercial Projects Lawyer to work within the Commercial Projects and Property team of a local authority in Cheshire for a period of 3-6 months.

The placement is full time and you will be working within the Commercial Projects team to assist with their workload of primarily construction contracts.

The ideal candidate will have building contract experience but this is not essential as full training is provided.

, Assist with existing building contracts casework and general commercial projects
, Deal with complex and sensitive case work
, Advise on the implications of new legislation and case law
, Advise on legal, ethical and governance issues

, Experience of working for a local authority
, In depth knowledge of Commercial Law or Contract Law or Property Law
, Current knowledge of local government legislation and government guidance
, Understanding of data production, freedom of information and confidentiality requirements
