Customer Service Advisor


We are looking for a motivated and driven Customer Service/Sales Advisor to join a friendly team within the recycling and waste management services, based in Essex.

The right candidate will be dealing with all aspects of administration with an element of sales support/enquiries.

You will have at least 1year experience working in this sector and a proven track record in sales with the ability to work to KPI’s.

This position will require you to provide the highest level of Customer Service to new, existing and prospective customers.

Key responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Dealing with telephone and email enquiries
  • Liaise with relevant individuals re new enquiries/orders to be fulfilled
  • Driver assistance
  • Help promote the company’s products/services
  • Liaising with Corporate clients

Experience and skills required

  • Minimum 1 year experience within a Waste Management environment
  • Minimum of 3 years customer service experience
  • Strong understanding/experience of waste management and waste transport operations
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Ability and willingness to use their own initiative.
  • Confident and professional.
  • Good time management.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Result driven and able to work to targets and KPI’s
  • Trustworthy A 'can do' attitude.
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to identify sales opportunities  
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Only candidates with previous relevant experience will be considered.

Due to the location of this client, this role would suit candidates that can drive and have their own transport as there is no public transport close by.
