My client is looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to join their team of 20 developers and designers.

You will be starting on an initial 6 month contract based out of either Windsor, London with possible remote options.


Ruby on Rails, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Linux, UNIX, Shoulda, Cucumber, Scrum, Kanban, Sphinx, ColdFusion, Perl

My client is looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer to join their team of 20 developers and designers.

Required Skills:

* Ruby on Rails (Solid Commercial Experience)
* MySQL (or equivalent RBMS)
* Knowledge of JavaScript using Prototype/Scriptaculous
* Ability to write clean, semantic, well-formed HTML and CSS
* Proficiency with Linux/Unix server commands
* Team lead experience, strong communicator

Desirable:

* TDD and BDD ( they use Test::Unit, Shoulda and Cucumber)
* Agile work environment (Scrum and Kanban)
* Links to open source projects or blogs you've written on
* Previous social networking projects
* Attribute-based searching with Sphinx
* ColdFusion, Perl
