A very successful e-commerce company is looking for a web developer to join their expanding web development team.

My client, based in Stockport, sells several thousand products on their websites with over thousands of unique visitors per day making this an excellent opportunity for a developer to join a vibrant development team.
A very successful e-commerce company is looking for a web developer to join their expanding web development team.

My client, based in Stockport, sells several thousand products on their websites with over thousands of unique visitors per day making this an excellent opportunity for a developer to join a vibrant development team.

The web developer will work on enhancing current systems as well as working on new projects.

My client uses bespoke systems, back and front-end and operates its own warehouse and call centre which means you will be part of a team improving operational efficiency.



The ideal candidate will be very interested in e-commerce and enthusiastic about driving a business forward through web development.

To do this, it is likely they will have previous commercial web development experience.

As my client is growing, this role provides excellent career prospects and also an opportunity to learn from senior members of the team.

Skills required:
• Coding experience in either PHP, Perl or Ruby on Rails.
• Previous commercial experience, ideally 1 year +
• Experience working with JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Practical knowledge of MySQL/SQL.
• Experience working with version control.
