Senior Software Engineer

Embedded C, UTRAN, 3GPP, C++, 3G, DSP

My Client, a leader in the development and delivery of wireless test solutions are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to joing their dynamic team.

Most of the development work you will do will be in an embedded C / C++ environment as well as development of device driver interfaces.

My Client, a leader in the development and delivery of wireless test solutions are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Most of the development work you will do will be in an embedded C / C++ environment as well as development of device driver interfaces.

Job Responsibilities

-Development in Embedded C and C++
-Development and integration test of the lower level software in the platform analysis of 3GPP UTRAN specifications
-Work within the software development methodology used in the group

Required Skills / Experience

-5 Years commercial SDLC experience
-5 Years experience in C / C++
-Experience in embedded software development
-Practical experience of the 3G (UTRAN) Layer 1 interface
-Protocol development experience
-Fantastic communication skills
-Proven experience with complex low level realtime software systems

Desirable Skills / Experience

-Previously worked doing development for a test equipment manufacturer
-Some knowledge of DSP techniques
-Knowledge of 3G (UTRAN) Layer 2
