Key Stage 2 Teacher Required

The successful candidate will possess QTS or an overseas equivalent in Primary Education, as well as recent relevant experience.


A school located in the heart of Derby City Centre requires a Year 5 teacher to cover a maternity position beginning after February half term.

There are 138 children on role at the school, they have minimal SEN requirements and therefore, the classes are manageable.

They set extremely high standards for their children and believe in the importance of the core skills of reading, writing and mathematics.

You must be willing to participate in all staff meetings and teacher training workshops.

You will be responsible for planning and preparation of lessons and will be expected to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues concerning the children's educational development.
