Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a leading global consultancy within the construction sector.

Due to continued success they have a requirement for a Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial management services to the Turbine package for an offshore windfarm project.



Salary:
Up to £52,000 depending on experience + benefits

Due to continued success they have a requirement for a Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial management services to the Turbine package for an offshore windfarm project.



The role will be based in Swindon and on site in the NW and the candidate must be willing to operate in both locations.

Geographic location to one of the bases is an advantage.



The successful Commercial Manager / Quantity Surveyor will be working within a package team reporting to and supporting the package PM on all commercial issues relating to the turbine package.



The package contractor has been procured so the role is generally post contract albeit the package is not yet on site.

The candidate will be required to manage the cost and commercial aspects of the delivery stage.

Commercial/QS duties:

Generally post contract providing cost and commercial support to the Turbine package manager.


Experience in offshore wind projects especially turbines would be advantageous.

However experience in similar work types would be considered or from the turbine supply industry.



Essential:
" Commercial management experience / QS in major projects.


" Energy experience especially offshore wind would be advantageous as would turbine experience.


" Turbine supplier background could be an alternative consideration.


" Professional qualification in a commercial background is necessary.

Salary:
Up to £52,000 depending on experience + benefits
